Twelve delegates including top representatives of Armenia’s information and communication technology industry (ICT) as well as entrepreneurs and investors will visit Turkey as part of the second stage of the ‘‘Exchange of Entrepreneurs’’ project jointly implemented by TEPAV and Public Journalism Club (PJC) within the framework of the programme ‘‘Support to the Armenia-Turkey Normalisation Process’’ funded by the European Union.
During the five-day exchange programme from February 24th to March 1st, the Armenian delegation will have meetings with top ICT experts, Investors, VCs, Startup founders and Entrepreneurs from Turkey and on February 25 will attend a round table discussion about ICT industries in Turkey and Armenia as well as cooperation opportunities.
On 26th February the group of twelve delegates from Armenia will have study visits to the ITU Technopark (Monitise, Solvoyo and Rasyonet companies) well known incubator, FitStartup Factory, and Turkey’s one of the most successful Startup Yemeksepeti.com.
On February 27th and 28th, The Armenian delegation will attend the highly reputable Startup Turkey event in Antalya, which brings together the leading entrepreneurs, investors, as well as representatives of technoparks, accelerators, ICT companies and educational institutions from the region. This unique forum that will host more than 700 participants will also allow the delegation to interact with a larger group and establish important business connections.

The first phase of the ‘‘Exchange of Entrepreneurs’’ project took place in Armenia on November 6-9, 2014. One of the main highlights of the Armenia phase of the exchange project was the Armenia-Turkey Startup Weekend.
“Exchange of Entrepreneurs” Project is jointly organised by the Public Journalism Club (PJC) and the Economic Policy Research Foundation of Turkey (TEPAV) within the framework of the programme ‘‘Support to the Armenia-Turkey Normalisation Process’’ funded by the European Union. The project aims to help ICT representatives from Armenia and Turkey to form an understanding of the ICT sector in the neighbouring country and explore opportunities for collaboration.
